Happening 10-11 September, just an hour from Central London, Ideas Fest will bring together over 4,000 founders, investors, and big thinkers for two days packed with inspiration and new connections. Emma will be joining an incredible line-up of speakers to share her journey and her vision for the future of food.

Emma’s has gone from champion boxer to Michelin-trained head chef to food-tech CEO, picking up awards along the way, including Food Start-Up of the Year and Equity-Backed Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, a powerful win in an industry where only 2% of venture capital goes to female founders.

But her story isn’t just about business wins. In 2024, Emma’s life was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour caused by undetected Cushing’s disease, a condition she had unknowingly lived with for over a decade. After a gruelling year of treatment and two brain surgeries, she came back fighting, keeping Shocken Foods alive from her hospital bed and even securing a partnership with the Bezos Earth Fund and Imperial College in London.
